AegisLink has no ads, no analytics, and no venture money. It is funded entirely by people who value private communication. Your donation pays for the self-hosted relay and call servers that keep the network running — nothing else.
Donations are anonymous by design
You do not need an account, a name, or an email to donate — and you should not send us any. We use privacy-preserving cryptocurrencies precisely so that a donation can never be linked back to your identity or your AegisID. We keep no record of who donated.
- We never link a payment to an AegisID. The app and the payment are completely separate systems.
- We collect no personal data. No name, no email, no billing address — the same as the rest of AegisLink.
- For maximum privacy, use a non-custodial wallet over Tor.

Bitcoin over the Lightning Network is fast, low-fee, and pseudonymous. Note that Lightning is pseudonymous, not fully private: your node or wallet may leak routing information. Use a non-custodial wallet over Tor for the strongest privacy.
